General Return & Exchange Policy

  • Returns/Exchanges are only accepted in the following cases:
    – The product received is damaged, defective, or different from the item ordered (including incorrect size).
  • We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for reasons such as change of mind, color variation, or dislike after purchase.

Eligibility for Return/Exchange

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • Requests must be made within 3 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, unstitched, and unaltered.
  • All original tags and packaging must be intact.
  • A valid proof of purchase or order ID is required.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note that the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Customized or altered garments
  • Items purchased on final sale or clearance
  • Accessories and innerwear (due to hygiene reasons)

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact our customer care via WhatsApp or email with your Order ID and reason for return/exchange.
  2. Ship the item to our return address using a trackable courier service.
  3. Share the courier tracking ID with us to expedite processing.

Exchange Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of the approval status.
  • Upon approval, your exchange item will be dispatched within 7 to 15 working days.

If the Requested Item is Unavailable

Due to high demand or in rare cases, the requested item (size, color, or product) may be out of stock. In such cases, you may:

  • Choose an alternative product of equal value from our collection
  • Or, opt for store credit (valid for future purchases)

This ensures you don’t miss out on your purchase and gives you the flexibility to choose something you truly love.

Mandatory Condition for Return Requests

To initiate a return or exchange, it is mandatory to provide a 360° unboxing video that meets the following criteria:

  • The video must begin by clearly showing the address label on the outer packaging.
  • The entire unboxing process must be captured in a single, unedited, continuous recording.
  • The video must clearly show the product and the specific issue.
  • No complaints will be accepted without proper video proof.

Please note: No exceptions or disputes will be entertained if this condition is not met.

Product Categories & Specific Guidelines

1. Readymade Wear (Churidars, Kurtis, etc.)

Returns or exchanges are not accepted once the product is dispatched, unless the item received is damaged, defective, or different from what was originally ordered (including incorrect size).

Sale or discounted items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

2. Sarees

We understand that sarees require extra care and specific expectations. Returns and exchanges for sarees are allowed only under the following conditions:

Eligible Return Reasons:

  • Visible tear or damage

Not Considered as Defects:

  • Minor thread knots, weaving inconsistencies, or slubs
  • Uneven threads near borders or motifs
  • Mild dye bleeding on the pallu (common in powerloom sarees)
  • Slight color variations due to screen or device display settings

Saree Return Process:

  • Raise a request via WhatsApp/email within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Once approved, ship the product back within 3 days.
  • The saree must be unused, unwashed, and returned with original tags and packaging.
  • Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility, unless the fault is from our end.
  • Store credit or exchange will be offered upon inspection and approval.

International Orders

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for international shipments.
  • In rare cases where a return is approved, all return shipping and customs charges must be borne by the customer.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been confirmed and processed, it cannot be canceled. We request our customers to review their order details carefully before confirming the purchase.

Refund Policy

At Vihana Designerrs Studio, we do not offer cash or bank account refunds.

In eligible cases, refunds will be processed through:

  • Store credit (valid for future purchases)
  • We aim to complete the refund process within 12 working days
